Brilliant Super TB is the official ball of the Liga Portugal for the 2019-2020 season. Since 2019, the Danish company Select has been the main partner of the largest football championship in Portugal. As a result, we see this beautiful ball, which combines classic design elements and top modern technologies.
What’s with the classics? The first is white as the main background color. Secondly, it is the canonical form of the panels. 32 angular panels were first seen by the world more than 50 years ago. Since then, there have been many great tech balls created, but only a few stick to the classic design.
And now a few words about modernity and technology. Brilliant Super TB is made up of 32 panels that are heat-sealed together. This is already difficult to surprise, however, we rarely see the classic shape of the panels in combination with thermal bonding. Select also developed a special relief of the outer layer. It looks like a lot of pentagonal pits. According to Select engineers, this provides top-end aerodynamics and perfect control.
